International exhibition "Window to Africa"
In the period from March 1 to March 12, 2024, the Business Exhibition Center (Kuibyshev str., 44D, 1st floor) under the auspices of the office of the Honorary Consul of South Africa in Yekaterinburg (hereinafter – the office of the Honorary Consul) will host the exhibition “Window to Africa”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of democracy in the Republic of South Africa and organized by in order to introduce the residents of the city to the authentic and original culture of South Africa and other African countries.
Opening hours of the exhibition:
March 1-11, from 10:00 to 19:00
March 12, from 10:00 to 17:00
ADMISSION IS FREE (6+)
PARTICIPATION IN MASTER CLASSES AND EVENTS IS FREE OF CHARGE
The exhibition is supported by the Embassy of South Africa in Russia, the partners of the event are the Ural State University of Architecture and Art named after N.S. Alferov, Ural Federal State University named after the First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin, the Institute of Arts of the Ural State Pedagogical University and the MAOU Gymnasium No. 8 “S.P. Diaghilev Lyceum”.
The exhibition will feature about 100 works of fine art, as well as thematic workshops and film screenings of documentaries about South Africa.
