On May 25 and 26, the annual Dikorosy (Wild Harvest) festival of fairy tales took place in Yekaterinburg. At the request of the festival organizers, the office of Honorary Consul of South Africa found storytellers among African students of Yekaterinburg universities. They narrated fairy tales of their countries in Russian.
African storytellers study at Ural Federal University (URFU), the Ural State University of Economics (USUE), the Yekaterinburg branch of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
